Ship that you find cute but don’t ship:There’s something I find really darn cute about Dawn and Riley but I can’t say that I’ve ever actually shipped them. Not sure why. I just haven’t?? Though I may have reblogged some pics of them in the past (or maybe not I honestly can’t remember)

Ship that needs more love:How about LUSAMINE AND HER HUSBAND!! I actually do ship Lusamine and Mohn, and even have a headcanon on what would happen if (when) they find each other again. I believe Mohn is a very kind, laid-back dude, and even if he doesn’t remember his wife at all due to whatever happened when he traveled through Ultra Space I think the core feelings remain, if that makes sense. He’s the best person for her, no question about it.

The grunts really pull out all the stops for Plumeria’s birthday. They adore her, and while it’s not like they don’t make sure she knows it every other day of the year, they really want to make sure she has the best birthday 46* poor kids can give her.

That being said, there tends to be a lot of competition between them when it comes to what to get her. She likes makeup and poké dolls, but beyond that she’s really not super materialistic. Heck, she’d be happy with a hug and a “Love ya, Sis,” but they all want to give her something special anyways.

She doesn’t have half the sweet tooth Guzma does, or appetite for that matter, but they still do their best to put together a big cake for her. Some grunts are better at baking than others.

They try to surprise her every year, but she always knows… Those dummies suck at planning surprise parties. Still, she appreciates the effort more than she lets on.

Now Guzma… I mentioned before how he’s terrible at remembering dates. The guy would probably forget his own damn birthday if no one else remembered it.

In terms of gifts almost no one knows what to get him aside from food. Which, I mean, that works, ‘cause Guzma likes food more than most other things people might give him… except that Tapu Koko-shaped cocoa mug… THAT was special (and also a Christmas present, not birthday, but whatever)

The grunts aren’t as openly affectionate with him as they are with Plums, but they still all pitch in to give him a kickass party.

One kind of quirky thing to note about Guz is the fact he doesn’t really know what to do when everyone’s celebrating like they’re actually HAPPY he exists or something… He’s conflicted, because while this is the kind of attention he craves, at the same time he doesn’t know what to do with it once he’s got it. He doesn’t try to escape it, but he gets… awkward. Flustered, even. He brushes off their kindness with a lot of “yeah, yeah… what, you want me to say ‘thanks’ or somethin’? Whaddaya want?”

It’s actually pretty cute, but he can go back to being mean real fast if anyone dares make fun of him for it. :’D

As for songs– I’m sad to say I haven’t found much that screams Guzmeria to me. “Special” by Garbage makes me think of Plumeria’s frustration towards him in the post-game, tho I definitely think she will forgive him sooner than later. She’s just frustrated right now, is all, but he’s her best friend, and likewise she’s his. They’ll get through this, and even if Team Skull is never revived as such (ReSkull on the other hand…) they’re still a family through and through.
