the general idea is like, this is in some mind-space shit that happens in between the brief time of kris putting the disk in and SNEO actually showing up. alot of it stemming from me viewing NEO as a kinda sorta person (?) on its own. i mean deltarune is a whole game where a huge part of it is 'objects have their own lives going on' i dont think its a stretch for me to think of the abandoned robot body as having Opinions on the scenario its in- but we'll get there. i think the most apt comparison i can come up with just. how SU fusions work. you're one person. you're two people. you're everything they are. you're something entirely new. for better and for worse. in this space Spam and NEO communicate, in this space they join. their conversation fully starts after the tracks are going- Spam doing his thing and trying to sell NEO on everything hes doing. look at you! you are something grand, and they left you to rot! but we were made for something more, cant you feel it? with NEO cutting in at the tracks breaking saying look at us. we were made by someone else to be grand and we were abandoned, trashed. there is no facade that can hide that. but we Will be something more. (and btw when i say a character saying something im just like. trying to convey the general feel of the conversation ok? ok. and all that to basically just say- imagine the singer going from being spam to being NEO after they fall off the tracks!) the part that uh, shows silhouettes of spams past is intended to also be showing NEOs own history on the beats that currently have nothing (frankly this is the part thats been tearing me up over sharing the wip or not because it is!! so important to me that this emphasizes a connection between these two as characters and. idk you can get its important to me that i show how they parallel eachother yknow)
