#tbt....my family is amazing! My Uncle James texted me the other day with this gem...my very first published magazine article for Black Professional Magazine in Atlanta circa 2004... ...and 12 years later, Im still at it! I was 18, majoring in Mass Communications at Andrew with big dreams of being published in Vibe Magazine one day (which I did in 2012 via Vibe.com 😎), however, being in entertainment journalism for 12 years can leave one exasperatingly jaded. But, this though...THIS is the exact motivation I needed! I feel its time to evolve in my craft and this reminded me like: "yes Brittany, this is your calling...once a writer always a writer...now figure out what you want to say and get back to work!"
