#fbf to when I had the most amazing experience at @sayyes_tlc in Atlanta...I got to meet Lori and the entire staff was great..such a memorable time! . . . I want to go back and do it all again ( wardrobe change perhaps 🤔 ) but I actually found my dress there in October and I got to meet Lori and my attendant was such an angel. I have no idea why my Mom isnt in any of the pics because she was definitely present...but yeah a special time indeed...I felt like a princess 👑

...its taken me some time to post this...truth is I haven't been right since my Grandma Dena passed in October...then 5 mths later...boom Grandaddy...not to mention my Great Aunt Peggy within the same week and then a dear friend and pastor last week. Man, Im nervous to even pick up my phone anymore...I dont want anymore bad mews 😔 . . . But what was so different about my Grandaddy's homegoing was how uplifted we all felt afterwards. (Peep the smiles) Im almost positive it was the eulogy performed by one of my favs, Elder Frank and the fact that my Grandaddy was such a highly regarded individual. It's not everyday that the entire Senate gives you a standing ovation for your 38 years of service while airing on CNN... or gives you and your family the flag that flew over the Capital that day. A black man, my Grandaddy with that much respect on Capital Hill...its admirable. 🙏 . . . The fact that we all have the funniest stories about him, or the fact that he battled Alzheimer's gracefully to the very end while making sure he made much needed connections with all his family before he passed so that we would always remember him...he never forgot a one. . . . I truly believe if he hadn't been for Alzheimer's, he'd be riding his Harley cross country right now! I am going to miss him calling me "young blood" and his many memorable soundbites lol and if you've ever heard me say " You're just a ball in tall grass...lost"...know Im quoting words of an honorable man, my Grandaddy. ❤ #RIP #fuckalzheimers #mifamilia #myloves #FOE #Idontmeantobragbutmyfamilyisdope
