I love this shot so much. It's such a cool way to show this as an introduction to the bizzaro world. It lets us easily read the backwards text while also showing Clark's reaction before we can see what the rest of the fortress looks like. The attention to detail with the capitalised letters is also neat.

concorp is much more openly evil and anti competition. also much more obvious about being vexian in nature rather than just some weird rituals.
they own nearly every shop, even if it’s run by other hermits. if you try to do anything independent of them it’s bound for failure or them just scooping up all the profits for themselves. this is part of why no one wants to work with grian on kalahari.
the thing is, despite them being openly awful money wise, no one actually dislikes cub and scar they just accept that their evil capitalist overlord business is part of how life is here it’ll die down next season probably don’t worry about it ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
