It's nice that Expresso made a cameo appearance in Berry in the Big City.

Even though this post is a follow-up from my previous one, it is not only dedicated to our birthday boy @buckleberry4ever, but for anyone else that sees this post. This is because of my drawing in the last post serving as the catalyst for a Berry in the Big City AU that I made a little while back called the Storybook AU.

The premise of this AU is that Strawberry finds an old storybook with multiple stories from her childhood. She gets sucked into this book upon opening it, gets transported into the fairy tale world, and takes on the role of one of its characters.

The only way for her to get out of the story is her for to make sure it happens as it is supposed to, because dark magic is changing the stories' plots as they go along. How much she can influence the story's events depends on the character she plays in that story, because it is different every time.

And along with this, certain characters from each of the stories she will go into are portrayed by her fellow Berry Besties and other Berry in the Big City characters. Unlike her, however, they would acting as their assigned characters and not themselves in real life, which may pose a challenge for Strawberry when she needs to interact with them.

Now, I was able to form designs for these berries except for Strawberry, which are found here in the following drawings:

Listed below are the different stories each of the Berry Besties are assigned to, in the order she would enter them:

Robin Hood - Bread Pudding, Lime Chiffon

Snow Berry & the Seven Berrykins - Lemon Meringue, Raspberry Tart

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - Orange Blossom, Sour Grapes

Berryella and Prince Berry Charming - Apple Dumpling, Plum Pudding

The Littlest Berrykin - Blueberry Muffin, Huckleberry Pie (see the previous post for reference.)
