Y/N Wheeler walked down the hallway of Hawkins Middle School as usual, wondering when anything would be different. Wondering if something in her boring life would ever change. When, suddenly, a flash of hair whipped by her face.
She looked up to see her friends all staring at Maxine (She remembered her snapping at Mr Clark earlier. "It'S mAx!") Mayfield standing by her locker.
Not, she wasn't gonna lie she had developed quite the crush on the new girl from her science class since she had arrived yesterday, but she lived in Hawkins, and being gay wasn't exactly appreciated.

So two of her friends, Dustin and Lucas, decided to go talk to her in their stupid Halloween costumes.
After some time passed, and the redhead looking pissed, Y/N decided to go collect her friends.
...He wasn't good enough for her...
Max tried to engage in an actual normal conversation with the younger Wheeler twin, but she just rolled her eyes and dragged her friends away, leaving a very disappointed looking Max.
