Really glad you're posting again!
thanks for saying so! i’m glad i’m posting again too. i go in phases. i have to be deliberate about my use of social media because i’m so easily sucked into a time vacuum and then look up from my phone and i realize i got home from work three hours ago and sat down to “just check” my stuff. i’ve been more on fb recently, not a ton but enough to notice it doesn’t add value to my life anywhere near commensurate with the time and energy it subtracts.
so, tumblr. i’m authentic in a different way here. i’m not inauthentic on fb, it’s just the audience is different and my reasons for posting are different and so i have different boundaries there. right now i want more of a balance between introspection and positive self-presentation. both of those are literally always present whenever i express myself anywhere. tumblytown gives me a more nourishing experience atm.
also, i’m smoking again. what the fuck else do you do on a smoke break, amirite?
