(Support Legend)

Passive Perk: Fortified - Incoming damage reduced by 15%. Not slowed by bullets.

Passive: Tough Love - Biraddali can shoot teammates to heal their health (not shields) for ½ the normal amount of damage dealt.

Tactical: Kain! - Instantly restores 30 shields to allies within range (15m radius). 45s cooldown. She cannot restore her own shields with this ability.

Ultimate: Bayanihan - Biraddali’s gains an additional 400 shields on top of her current amount, which take damage before her normal shields or health. She glows brightly for the 30s duration. Damage taken by allies within range (same as Kain!) is inflicted to Biraddali’s extra shields before their own shields or health. Fortified is disabled for Biraddali for the duration of Bayanihan. 180s cooldown.

Backstory and Lore

Big smile, big voice, big meals, big family. Everything about Adalira is big, and that’s the way she likes it. Big everything means there’s more to share, and she does so love it when others join in. Adalira’s at her happiest when there are lots of people and voices and sounds and excitement all around. She loves holding court with other farmers of her ilk on trips into town. It is how she met her wife, after all.

Like most from Harmony, Adalira was raised in a farming community. Decades of digging crops, corralling livestock with one hand and younger siblings/sons-and-daughters/nieces-and-nephews with the other (plus taking up her trusty shotgun when IMC straggler raiders came looking for an easy meal), have built Biraddali into the massive woman she is today.

There’s always a place at the table for any hungry soul, but she’ll make you regret it if you mistake her hospitality for weakness. She’ll just as readily smack the attitude out of you as put her big self between you and danger, viewing it as teaching kindness and community values.

It’s also part of the reason she’s joining the games now. While she still pitches in, the newer generations of her family have mostly taken over running the farmlands, leaving her with more free time to… indulge her big and loud personality, plus a big and loud shotgun.

With seemingly half of Harmony cheering her on, Biriddali aims to get these younger legends fed proper and taught proper. They are just another big and loud family in her eyes, after all.

Biriddali came about due to various inputs. My own desire to have a stronger heal-focused character than Lifeline’s piddling lip-service. Somebody else very validly being unhappy about their not being any bigger-bodied female characters in the game, and a third person wishing for a Filipino-inspired Legend. I was happy to combine all three into Biriddali. Let me know what you think.

- a mythical race of ethereal women who descend to Earth to bathe in the mountains. Their detachable wings are stolen by men who want them as wives. Some myths end with the Biraddali finding their wings and returning to their home, and some end with their husbands undergoing challenges to become worthy of the Biraddali. (Tausug, Sulu)

In the short myth, four out of the seven angel sisters came down from the sky at night. They lived in the sky as stars or something. The four of them usually came down to bathe. When they bathed, they had to take their wings off and it transformed into their tapis (cloth worn wrapped around the body usually from the waist down).

One night, a man watched them from the bushes and stole one of the angels' wings. The three had left but the last one, the youngest couldn't leave. The man stole her wings and hid it somewhere. The man promised to return her wings if she married and had his kid.

Years passed and they were married with a child, yet he hadn't returned her wings. She kept trying to find her wings. Her sisters who could no longer return to the realm of men whispered in the winds where to find it and when she finally heard them, with a heavy heart, she took her wings and left.

I think the story was in a children's book so the lesson was be wary of men's greed or something and the angel's persistence

But yeah, in the end, the version I read had kinda sad ending, the young angel returned to the heavens as a star, but because years had passed she was always a bit further away from her other sisters, always sharing the same sky but unable to meet each other
