Now this is a bit more of a stretch but I think she wouldn’t marry them-after all, it’s frowned upon for a woman to have multiple husbands. PIDW is a novel that staunchly displays traditional gender roles and if Binghe was a girl theyd enforce feminine gender roles and expectations onto her. So, I think the novel is building up to / baiting for her to find her one true husband ect.

Shen yuan is less drastically different. Her main complaint of “Humble Heavenly Maiden’s Way” is how harmful and stereotypical it is. I mean really, a soft, traditionally feminine and submissive woman being saved over and over by thousands of men? She could THROTTLE the author.
