âGhost boy, for our date this weekend, do you think you could bring a friend for my friend, Star?â
Danny looked down at Paulina from where he hovered in the air above the park. She was smiling up at him and looking way too pretty as usual. When she had asked him out on a date earlier that week, he of course could not decline.
But this new request was not something he was expecting.
âI really want her to come along,â explained Paulina. âA double date would be fun, donât you think?â
Danny chewed the inside of his cheek. He really didnât want to blow this opportunity, didnât want to disappoint her and bring a frown to such a beautiful face. âI...guess I could find someone.â
Paulina clasped her hands. âOoh, thank you, ghost boy! Weâre going to have so much fun!â She blew him a kiss before taking off, practically leaping into the air every few steps.
Danny considered his options. Had to be a human, of course, and Tucker and Star had already dated and broken up.
That left just one other choice.
A couple days and a trip through the Fenton Ghost Catcher later, Super Danny and Fun Danny met up with Paulina and Star outside their decided meeting place, the Nasty Burger.
âWhat?â shrieked Star. âFenton? Are you kidding me?â She turned to Paulina with a snarl. âYou didnât tell me my date would be Fenton!â
âGhost boy, you and Danny are friends?â Paulina looked from one boy to the other and broke into a smile. âYou know, I totally suspected that because you do seem to show up wherever Danny does.â
âSo true, Paulina,â said Super Danny with a dramatic brandish of his arm. âDanny is a good friend of mine and is here to fulfill your request that I bring a friend. Which he is. He is my friend and totally separate from me and not at all my otherââ
Fun Danny elbowed him hard. Super Danny immediately clamped his mouth shut.
âDid you always have a cape?â asked Paulina, walking to Super Dannyâs side so she could see it more fully. âI donât remember you having a cape before.â
Super Danny placed his fists on his waist and threw his head back. âNot usually, my good lady, but this was a special occasion, and I felt I needed to look my best for you.â
âThen maybe you shouldâve gotten a real cape instead of a bedsheet,â teased Fun Danny.
Super Danny lightly smacked him with the back of his hand. âSilence, village idiot! At least I ironed it. You didnât even wash your hat.â
âUh, yeah, âcause it didnât need to be.â Fun Danny rolled his eyes.
âIt makes you look like a slob. You should really take it off.â
Super Danny reached for the hat. Fun Danny hit the hand away.
âHey, I told you already. If I donât get my hat, then you donât get your cape.â
âI think the hatâs cute,â said Paulina. âAnd that leather jacket looks so good on you.â
âOh, this old thing?â Fun Danny tugged at the front of his jacket. âYeah, it does look pretty good on me, huh?â
âI donât care how good he looks.â Star turned up her nose. âIâm not going on a date with Fenton.â
âAw, come on, babe.â Fun Danny sidled up beside her. âI promise I can show you a real good time if you just give me a chance.â
He waggled his brows. Starâs scowl faltered as a blush colored her cheekbones.
âI think youâll find that tonight, Iâm not the Danny you usually see at school.â He pulled on his jacket again. âTonight, Iâm fun. Iâm cool. Iâm different.â
âYes,â cut in Super Danny. âAnd the reason he is different is because he is definitely not at all myââ
âShut up, dude! Jeez!â snapped Fun Danny.
Paulina giggled. Star smirked.
âI kind of like this new dominance of yours, Fenton.â Star coyly fingered her braid. âMaybe this double date wonât be so bad after all.â

I havenât seen 3below yet, but you put Danny Phantom in the tags, so would it be alright if I saw something youâre working on there?
Sure thing! Hmmm, something Iâm actually actively working on⌠well thereâs Mid||Night, but thatâs updating either later today or tomorrow, so how about this? Iâve been carrying around the draft of this fic in my bag for literally four months now as Iâve been waiting out this latest round of blocked creativity, to the point where the pages are dog-eared and scribbled with like, three colors of pens. I think Iâm sloowly starting to get somewhere though. Hereâs the newly minted intro:
There were a lot of ways Danny had imagined this vacation would go. Snow and skiing in the crisp mountain air. Sweeping views of the Catskills. Hot chocolate with extra whipped cream, maybe shared with one of those pretty Swiss girls Tucker swore practically lived in the ski lodges. âWe doing this or what, Fenturd?âDanny sighed. âYeah, give me a minute."Â
A stupid race at stupid o'clock with the extra-stupid bane of his existence was so not part of the plan. He glanced over the text to Jazz, which read simply: Cover for me. He hit send and tried not to feel guilty. That was usually code for ghost business, not sneaking out at night. Not technically a lie. Sheâd never know the difference. Besides, Mom and Dad were out on a long ghost patrol and heâd be back in bed way before they ever got back. Before he could think better of it, Danny turned off his cell phone and stuffed it into the pocket of his parka, zipping it shut. He yanked on his mittens and bent down to strap a boot onto his board. He hop-slid over to where Dash held up the thick yellow caution tape, ducked under and slipped onto the soft untouched snow.He eyed the caution tape. "Are you sure thereâs a slope back here?ââDonât you know anything? Itâs Dead Manâs Run. Double diamond. Scouted for the Olympics. Got shut down thirty years ago. Wanna know why?ââI bet youâre gonna tell me anyway.âDashâs teeth flashed in the moonlight. âThere were accidents. Lots of them. Somebody died. Took âem three days to find the body.ââCanât imagine why they left that one off the brochure.â
Round 2 Match 4: @bibliophileap vs. @dannyphantom-justiceleauge
âAre you telling me I canât hit on her either?â Â Tucker asked Danny when Vic flew up and joined them in the honored guestsâ box. Â Danny rolled his eyes.
âJust think of this as a no-flirting zone, Tuck. Â Like, a family reunion or something.â
Well, he guessed this was as crazy as any of his family reunions.  And there was that time his Uncle Mike got into a fight with Second-Cousin Arlo, soâŚ
He was distracted by Vic and Taliâs whispers, but he couldnât quite catch what they were saying. Â Tali nodded gravely as they finished, though.
âChange of plans,â she said. Â âWeâre working out some technical difficulties, so weâre switching up the phighters for this round.â
âTechnical difficulties?â Â Tucker asked.
âYeah, looking into hiring more writers, keeping everyone on their toes, giving everyone a more even chance to know if theyâre moving on to the next round or not,â Tali said. Â âI meant to do this earlier actually. Â Vic just reminded me.â
âHuh. Â Well is there still gonna be a fight?â
âOf course! Â The Phight must go on!â Â She raised her megaphone. Â âIntroducing the phighters of match four! Â From the Medieval Province, we have the mathematical Bibliophileap!â
âThe derivative of 2x^2 is 4x,â Bibliophileap announced as she entered the ring. Â Her medieval robes, which were embroidered with impossible-looking equations, Â hovered a few inches above the ground.
âAnd from the Temporal Domain, a phighter whoâs knowledge spans dimensions: Dannyphantom-justiceleague!â
âOh great, itâs the beekeeper again,â Danny said, sinking deeper into his seat.
âOof,â Tucker said. Â Heâd known Danny long enough to know his hatred of bees.
âPHIGHT!â
âCome, my children!â Dannyphantom-justiceleague said, opening their sack of bees. Â The insects buzzed loudly as they circled in a pattern around them, forming a protective ring.
âAh, a sine function,â Bibliophileap said sagely.  The bees were hovering up and down in time, creating a wave in the ring.  âI should be able to break through if I can calculate the antiderivativeâŚâ
She pulled out a scroll of parchment and a quill. Â Unfortunately for her, the bees werenât waiting on her to show her work. Â They clumped together before firing at Bibliophileap like a giant laser of bees.
âAhh!â Â She cried out, falling to the pavement. Â ââAlas! I must lie tangent... with the curves... of the ground....â
Tali blew her kazoo as Dannyphantom-justiceleague called back their bees.
âBibliophileap is unable to battle! Â Dannyphantom-justiceleague wins!â

A quick Google search tells me that character illustrator is a thing! And the top job for character illustrators according to Google is concept art. Is that a thing you're interested in?
i think the concept art area of drawing characters involves character design so that brings me back to not bein sure abt it tbh
i dont wanna make new characters as a career, i just wanna draw the ones ppl have already made if that makes sense? :0a i mean. unless something changes my mind and makes me rly want to get back into character design as a career and not a hobby
Your podphics are some of the coolest things Iâve seen in a while. I didnât even really know they existed until you brought up that you were doing it. I rarely see such amazing content created for fandoms on a sound base, in the sense that itâs something outside of musical playlists, and this is such a fantastic addition that really helps bring together the community and highlight some of the great writing we have.
