Being a civilian in Villainous universe means that you're doomed from the very start no matter what side you choose...
Think of it. You're a civilian living a normal life, watching heros fight villains and protect the city for a noble couse, protecting you. And you're simply unaware that they are painfully corrupt and sometimes as bad as villains end up being.
Obviously Black Hat Organisation is something you'd fear the most, as it's the cause of many horrible things in the world and an organisation that's actively producing more equipment for villains and teaching them how to be good at villainy. Destroys cities and the peace, by allowing even something of a hitman. No need for specific explanation there.
PEACE would be logically your best option right? Oh how unfortunate. You're doomed there by corrupt leaders and members, people who actively act and cower up something that should be in the godamn list of crimes against humanity, no like seriously. What heed did with forced brainwashing is at least on some scale of the list, destroying someone's education by making them donate all their money and attention towards her. Probably broken up marriages and relationships as the perfume made them go insane with devotion towards her. Possible forever lasting problems with health or an alregic reaction to the formula. The aftermath of the incident simply cannot be written on one sheet of paper.
PEACE. Covered. That. Up.
Not to mention, they are actively experimenting on people to see if they can implement superpowers into thos without powers as we know that that's how heed got hers, which by the way, she almost lost her life because of that if I'm not wrong?
The organisation forces people in to silence.
Heroes are focused on popularity and wealth, leaving actual heroes who genuinely want to help those in need of protection - like GLo and Omega Nuclear - basically into extinction..
Vanity Bolt: starving for validation and to seem more important than he is.
Ring worm: in my opinion too smug and confident in himself. Looked like he was more interested in harming Dr Flug rather than defeating or restraining him, shooting his powers with that wide ass grin, just to be defeated by his own lack of understanding that he CANNOT let his guard down and get distracted as a hero
Sunblast: he. Is a special case. Straight up albeist- okay, more like ignorant? He stated at his first episode to Flug that he won't go down just because "penumbra and other wimps are afraid of a little sunburn".
Which, no. No it's not a lot a sunburn.
Dude only found out about his wrong opinions after reading the news articles in Penumbra's house, and we could clearly see him sitting in Penumbra's post, overthinking everything for quite the while. And, thankfully he changed, quite literally Penumbra ended up making him a better person, a better hero.
Bicep: a retiring hero who's already insufferable, putting his sidekick aside like she's nothing and more interested in his face rather than safety of civilians surrounding him. He quite literally got his ass handed back to him because he was too or prideful to give G-lo even a chance to fight besides him (which btw, she probably would have even been able to defeat that odd looking buff replica of Flug.)
Buldozer: I won't go into details about him specifically. He's basically a hero who quite literally went insane after the loss of his hand and gained a trauma. And PEACE? instead of helping him with something like therapy to cope with his mental health and sudden loss of a body part, they allowed him to continue working as a hero.. dude is talking with the gigantic ball on his hand.. with himself.. while he's convinced that thing is replying back.. PEACE looked at that anc went "ye! You're good to workand be responsible for people's lives!"
And on separate part we have Goldheart the most famous and popular hero there is, perhaps the strongest as well. He's got his own superhero team that's well known, the most charismatic and trustable hero you could think of! Just to be in the dark that the man has a secret plan off ending villainy once and for all. Which.. ye, good idea? But, one problem, that's simply impossible. It's something you can lower perhaps by ensuring there are no abused kids, more work opportunities, to avoid the need for villainy is the max you can go?
Ending villainy and lowering the causes of it, is not the same.
But fear not, as a civilian you still have the police on your side!
Yet again, even police cannot be trusted (shocker eh??) They are working with peace AND the fucking mafia??? Just to cover more and more of heroes wrong doings like it's a play.
Just to have the audacity to say that mafia is not as bad as villainy
Just to go back to Goldheart and the theory that those who wear gold are his supporters, moving on towards followers who would do anything for him, basically like a cult
Oh, and don't forget about those sweet sweet scientist organisations either that were supposed to help you and humanity just to end up with a new illness and problems. Blaming the failure at a victim as well, to avoid a part or responsibility.
