netflix botches subtitles from time to time. typos and sometimes the wrong dialogue entirely. i know this because i watch everything with subtitles. it happens. def rectoress.

definitely rectoress. the other one feels wrong, even if it exists in us english.
I hadn’t even considered that it might be anything other than Rectoress until I, by chance, had the subtitles on one day. Then I looked up the definitions and saw the US ones and was conflicted.Â

I've been eyeing it (mainly in and because of tumlr gifs) but still on the fence about it... should I make the hop?
It’s not perfect; some writing / story / character choices have left me wondering just wtf is going on in the writers’ heads. But the characters are interesting, and the world building / backstory is getting pretty interesting too. There are some excellent performances, and I think it has a little bit of everything for everyone. Lots of grey areas (at least, I think (and hope) that’s what they’re going for), not a lot of easy answers. A heck of a lot happens in the season finale, so I’m glad they’ve been renewed!Â
