long spans of time spent indoors was often a little depressing for reina. she had always been finely tuned with nature; some would argue she quite literally was one with it. however, when it concerned spending that time with friends, she could make a generous exception. while she would have adored dithering away in her balcony garden, there was something equally therapeutic about being in the company of like-minded people. mireya was a sweet shot of sunlight that cut through the low hanging clouds always clinging to the streets of las vegas. so, when she expressed an interest in some of reina's company on their days off, the young green witch was eager to accept. she had chosen to lay out some craft supplies, thinking it would make a fun activity while they chatted and gossiped away the afternoon. after inviting mireya inside and directing her toward the stack of tongue depressors accompanied by glitter glue and handfuls of decorative items, she spoke on how she was dying for a new, hand-crafted birdhouse, and of course, mireya could sign her name on it and make one of her own. while her visitor was busy with that, reina brewed them tea, talking over her shoulder from the kitchen before the kettle whistled and she began bringing a mug to the center table. "here you are," a bright smile accompanied the delivery as she sat the mug beside mireya's work. "wow, it's looking adorable so far! i knew you had to have a penchant for arts and crafts," she leaned in so she could closer examine the birdhouse. "i'll be sitting with you soon, i promise. i just wanna brew some sun tea for good luck. my daughter finishes pre-k next month, so i want it to go perfectly. tell me, though, what's been happening in your world, sweetums?"
