Savos stopped drawing invisible circles and lay both his hands flat on the counter. For a moment he was deciding weather or not to lean his head on the counter as well and pretend he was all alone in by the bar, which would also include rudly ignoring the ‘mer next to him, to indulge in some sort of conversation - its success depending heavily on Savos' will to actually talk. "They're mercenarieth, I think." And by ' mercenaries he meant freelancing men and women with a questionable relationship with the law. He tilted his head slightly and turned to the dunmer next to him, leaning on his lower arm for support. "Believe me I am jutht ath thurprithed ath you are to thee... thith." He said and motionef to the crowd with his free arm. "They came here, cauthed- ith thtill cauthing- enough ruckuth to wake the dead, woke /me/ up at leatht." He didn't raise his tone once but spoke with the anger of several dozens angry senior citizens rudely robbed of their sleep.

Oh, an outlander. Wonderful. He might as well be a nord. “It’th a common greeting phrathe in a language you should underthtand.” The dunmer muttered. Maybe his reaction had been a tad bit unfair but in the sour mood he was in the vampire reasoned that the stranger should have made the effort to learn the language of his people. "I thaid ' Under thun and thky, friend '. " Not that he expected the other 'mer to understand the meaning of the phrase. Maybe a good meal could help with his mood? The vampire mused. Tough the taste of these nords blood would probably not too different from actual mead. By the three, he hated nord mead. "What bringth a mer like you to an inn like thith in the middle of nowhere?" His gaze never left the old wooden counter and, judging by the quiet tone he spoke in, one might as well have guessed he was talking to himself. Other than the slight nod he hadn't acknowledged the other 'mer in any other way. He continued to draw circles on the wooden counter.

The inn hadn’t been as crowded when Savod first arrived. Not counting the innkeeper and the serving girl, the place was was more akin to an abandoned shack in the woods than an actual inn. It was perfect for him. Then late on the afternoon on the next day he woke up to the delightful surprise that half of Skyrim had apparently decided that this was as good place as any to cause as much noise as possible without. Savos was half convinced-no, hoped- that they wake dead with all this chaos. Things hadn’t improved as the sun began its descent and soon would loom over the horizon. Too early to go outside, and too late to try to back sleep, the now very irritated and sleep derived ‘mer crept down the stairs and took a seat at the far end of the bar. He chatted a bit with the inkeeper, not at all hiding how ver displeaed he was at the sudden change of atmosphere but the nord either was took thick headed to see this or he simply did not care. It was more likely the latter. With his pockets over flowing with gold and more business,  Savos guessed, than he he ever had before the inkeeper was as happy as a pig in the mud. Another creature entered the crowded building and judging by its scent, Savos assumed it was thankfully not another Nord. Glancing at the newcomer from the corner of his eye Savos noticed, with some gratitude, that it was a fellow dunmer. Though still trapped in his foul mood Savos only gave the 'mer a slight nod as he took a seat next to him and continued to draw circles on the wooden counter with his fingertips. Maybe he /should/ say something? "Under thun and thky, thera." He spoke in his native tongue. A bit stiff a greeting but the phrase was familiar and hopefully it was so to the other dunmer as well.
