we are home from boofest!
milo got 2nd in a very competitive open class show 1, then 4th in show 2. i am very very proud!! looking at the catalogue before driving up, i was just hoping to place. i think he was very close to winning his class in show 1; the judge looked at him for a long time! he moved beautifully for me both shows. i’m actually especially proud of the 4th place ribbon bc it’s from a judge i knew wouldn’t put him up. this judge didn’t even LOOK at him in the lineup, totally just threw him at the end of it, but then when he saw milo move, he moved us up like 3 or 4 places.
ponzu got some good practice having a judge go over her, but ultimately enjoyed collecting sticks the most. she just wanted to play with me in the ring, which was honestly really adorable.
sivi got shit on in stud dog bc it was literally pitch black outside and the first judge didn’t even put hands on him. 🤷🏻♀️ i only entered him in stud dog to get cute pics of him strutting with his kids but seeing as we were showing by FLASHLIGHT i didn’t even get that.
today i got milo’s ukc papers!!! super exciting
so now that he has a number, i’ve entered him in a show this weekend and sent out applications for his LGRA and NOTRA numbers. i’ve also gotten started on my boofest entries, but am waiting to find out which puppy is ponzu so i can enter her in the puppy 3-6mo class!
