my new PCP had apparently not encountered the concept of "person with adhd bad enough that they need stimulants in order to complete their ADLs" bc she just KEPT asking me "you take them every day? not just weekdays? even on holidays? what about days where you don't have things to get done???" like there was a secret version of me that is able to start/complete/switch tasks that I can access when I am dealing with tasks that are Unrelated to Work Productivity? and then when I tried to explain she was like "oh so you don't really struggle with adhd, it's more like brain fog?" and I was like "......no, no, what you are looking at it not 'absence of adhd,' it is in fact 'adhd so severe that my executive dysfunction is severely disabling on a day to day basis'" and I'm still not sure she understood ??
