You ended up with Loki’s cape after mission. Since you like having something of his, and he never questioned where did it go, you kept it. You use it as a blanket to have a taste of what it could be like to have Loki next to you. Loki is magically capable of knowing state of his belongings, and when lost, makes a game out of searching for them. Recent updates on his cape state are a little baffling. He would expect things like “cuddling” or “nuzzling” from pet, but it’s definitely in human hands. And with each failed attempt at figuring out which human it is, he grows more and more frustrated with the fact that his belonging gets more affection than him.

Loki tries to woo you, by taking your appearance and scaring off assholes that bother you. If he intimidated them as himself, they still could make things difficult for you when he is not around. Making them wary of you seems more practical. This way he hopes you would not be worried about backlash of associating with him.

You set up indoor garden to collect and take care of plants from different realms. You notice that someone beside you is coming there, and during search for intruder you catch Loki dozing of among plants. He likes relaxing in your garden because some plants are known to him from Asgard, but he didn’t want to reveal himself to not be forbidden from visiting.

Loki has midgardian persona for when he wants to mingle in crowds and loosen up a little. He sometimes interacts with people that know him, proud that no one is wiser and his little trick goes unnoticed. It works perfectly fine until he learns of your crush. To his chagrin not on him, but his other persona.

You get back to compound at late hour, after mission gone wrong. Exhausted after hours of clean up, countless repetition of mission report and meetings about reducing fallout of events. You slowly make your way to the nearest couch in line of sing muttering of days events. “Can I get a hug at least?” you ask on one in particular. There is sharp sound of book snapped shut from the corner, and you notice you were not as alone in room as you thought. In the corner, with book on his lap, sits Loki- the newest member of the team. Warrior member in front of whom you are not comfortable to look weak. When he makes his way towards you, you expect to hear unpleasant comment, but he doesn’t say a word. He gives you a hug.

All team Loki included is affected by a curse. It can be lifted only by other person figuring out and performing deed specific for the affected one. After days of performing crazy stunts, the whole team is rid of curse beside Loki. Unpopular member or not you decide to help him out, which turns out to be harder than it looked like. 

Imagine Loki noticing that there are people dressed to support him. Avengers are used to people wearing their merchandise but for Loki- who started working with them as repayment for invading Earth, it is a completely new experience. He can’t comprehend why any Midgardian would choose to do it, but he can’t help feeling protective of anyone who wears his symbols and colours.
