If i could've had a say on the borderlands movie choices, i wouldn't have used roland or kreig.
Instead i would've used Brick and Hammerlock.
Have the whole thing based around teaming up to save Mordecai and Wainwright jakobs who were kidnapped by an enemy vault hunting party to open the vault because they figured out how.
Tina meets Gaige midway through because she gets separated then they have this huge explosive entrance to meet back with the party before end fight.

Who would i have as the enemy vault hunter team?

Kreig because why not?

Fiona or Sasha from Tales from the Borderlands
And plot twist Gaige, who ends up switching sides after realizing she's working for the bad guys.
Considering most of these guys were mercs for hire, them being the bad guys isn't unbelievable.
Leave it on a cliffhanger as it's revealed Handsome Jack was the big mastermind behind it all, setting up a sequel.
Last like 2 seconds cut to a shot of zeros mask before his sword slices through the screen to credits, No Rest For The Wicked playing.
Post credits scene is just bloopers of clap trap forgetting lines and breaking the 4th wall. Last line is clap trap yelling "Shut the f*** up steve!" With the f word bleeped out. Before you hear "Heyooo!"
