do you have cable? if you can find a kids channel they'll surely watch it. fun games if they want to play could be tag or hide and seek? also drawing if you have paper lying around- kids draw for hours! sorry i cant be of more help!

I'm not great with kids either and have been stuck in this too. What I did is bought a couple movies (we don't have netflix) they liked, find teh cheapest best dinner option, and do that. I just bought a couple pizzas and sodas they liked

oh man this is where it gets fun... so the cable my mom has is the ‘select your channel’ stuff so there are 0 kid channels. none. i have some big sheets of paper so that is an option but my markers are expensive so these kids better be happy with like... 1 pencil to share

i might have to go and rent some movies or something... there’s a place not too far from my house, though i ca’nt leave them behind, so i’d have to take them along on the walk and idk how they would handle the heat of where i live and walking so far. also their family eats ORGANIC ONLY sooooo : ))))) no soda no pizza

i do have a deck of cards, so card games are actually the best bet right now. i’m just thinking of myself as a kid and what my interests were but my autistic ass just wanted to be alone to read books about occult stuff so :)))))

BUT HERE IS THE THING. I HAVE A LITERAL STARTER PACK FOR TWENTY ONE PILOTS.LITERAL. STARTER. PACK. DO YOU WANT THE WHOLE THING??? (if you want the whole thing i will facebook it to you cos it includes other sound bites and things.)

because honestly picking THREE songs alone to get a feel for them might not be enough??? you have obviously seen my affection for them on my blog, lmao.

but if i had to choose THREE AND ONLY THREE, i would pick:

from their self-titled album: kitchen sink (don’t fret if you can’t understand the rap his brother sings, LITERALLY TEN PEOPLE CAN DO IT). listen here

from vessel: migraine. this is the first song i ever heard by them, and it’s what got me into them. listen here

from vessel (originally released on their cd regional at best): guns for hands. this song means so fucking much to me because tyler always tells people to stay alive during this song, or tells us we’re all together, we can all beat whatever is making us feel like we can’t go on. listen here

ALSO their most popular song, i guess, is car radio, which is also REALLY GOOD and the one that i guess is the song most people heard first when they first heard of the band but my girl alienboy-jish hooked me up with migraine first, so that’s what i associate with tøp when i’m thinking of new songs to give people to listen to.

but really, ALL their stuff is worth a listen because, okay, while you can TELL it’s all the same band, none of it really sounds super alike. like, you hear a fall out boy album or a beatles album and it all makes linear sense, but you listen to a twenty one pilots album and it’s like upbeat music with scarily relatable lyrics that sounds like it should be depressing but isn’t, but then wait a minute there’s a ukulele and some synth and it’s pretty happy and now hang on we’re screaming about being alone and wait I DON’T FEEL ALONE ANYMORE. 

i honestly cannot put into words how much this band means to me. also their twitter accounts are hilarious (tylerrjoseph and joshuadun) and josh also has a tumblr, stillstreet. (ps you should also listen to addict with a pen AND NOW I’M DONE FOR REAL)

(oh shit wait and also lane boy because josh goes so hard on the drums i’m scared his arms will fall off)
