dealing with film budgets more intensely lately has really inspired me to have a better head for my own personal budget and in the last couple weeks I have learned 1) it is REALLY easy to go out and spend fifty bucks and barely notice and 2) adding up short columns of numbers in your head is a skill that comes back quickly with practice. and it makes me feel like a savant
