He was so happy about the bee awwwwwww

Like, my students will come to me with tiny scrapes and upset bellies and missing their parents, and I’ll return their feelings. I’ll tell them “that must hurt is there anything I can do” or “I miss my parents too so I know how you feel”

Because like

I told them how I was upset that a wasp got trapped in my room and died, and you know how kids feel about wasps

But instead of mean words about wasps, I got a lot of “Aww that’s so sad” and “I hope you feel better soon”

Like these three year old children understood their feelings about bees were less important than my feelings towards bees, because that’s the same compassion they got from me when they were in pain
