A Polyphemus Moth! (Antheraea polyphemus)

Side notes: I saw your submission to animal person and knew I had to bestow this moth upon you (I originally bestowed this moth upon someone else but (as far as I know) they never answered the ask and its been at least a few months so it's yours now). I think I was correct in the moth identification, but PLEASE correct me if I wasn't.

EEEE OMFGGG... i bestow it a max stat of AWESOMENESS. and max stat of antennae wowie look at those thangs. those feathery antennae mark this specimen as a male! and im fairly sure this is a polyphemus, yes. :]

Ah, it might be a regional name, but we call these insects that walk on water molnárka!

Their proper name is molnár poloska, which roughly translates to "miller bug", they're very common where I live! The little bread things are also called molnárka, the word "miller" being the common thread.
