Writing this response actually lead me down a small rabbit hole of animals who actually have been known to indulge in milk from time to time. Red-billed oxpeckers sometimes hang around larger ungulate mammals to drink milk from their udders, and seagulls and sheathbirds have been known to partake of the odd sip of elephant seal milk. Which they're very brave to do because I would not wish the wrath of a disturbed elephant seal upon my worst enemies.

And of course, dogs, cats, and pigs are capable of drinking milk but only in small amounts.

All this to say, I'm pretty sure most all beastman are still capable of drinking milk, but maybe the ones in the Sunset Savannah just prefer water and fruit juice. Meanwhile, you'd be hard-pressed to find cat beastmen from the Queendom of Roses who don't fancy a spot of cream.

This also makes me wonder if maybe dog beastmen are more likely to have chocolate and grape allergies. Or onions too, that's a big one.

Jack Howl;

-Wolf Beastmen are some of the most agreeable species of beastmen due to the fact that they’re highly sociable and are able to make strong bonds that can last lifetimes.

-Jack retains heat better because his fur is double insulated, this also makes him warmer to the touch in cold climates.

-Jack needs significantly less food than his size would lead you to believe, needing only 5-7 pounds of food. (This is considered small when talking about Beastmen, a human eats 3 to 5 pounds per day).

-Wolf Beastmen have a longstanding relationship with Raven Beastmen, due to the species’ history of both aiding and protecting each other.

Leona Kingscholar;

-Leona’s voice can reach up to 114 decibels and can be heard up to 5 miles away.

-Lion Beastmen naturally have comparatively low stamina to other beastmen, meaning they’re renowned for their strength and presence over their physical capabilities. Leona is slightly better at this but still isn’t as capable as the long distance runner, Jack.

-Leona has a high amount of testosterone, as evidenced by his naturally black hair.

-Male Lion Beastmen like to appear more manly by dying their manes, but this is risky due to the smell of the chemical dye.

-Leona has night vision, meaning he can see in almost pitch black situations.

-All male lion beastmen are a little submissive to the females or whatever mate that’s able to dominate them.

Ruggie Bucchi:

-Female Hyena Beastmen appear more male than the males of their species due to higher levels of testosterone, this means that females will have larger muscles and wider builds than males.

-Ruggie can outrun Leona IF he gets a head start, due to the fact that hyena Beastmen have more stamina than Lions.

-Ruggie enjoys the taste of bone marrow and will devour bones.

-Hyena Beastmen have 3 different “laughs”: A regular joyful one, a stressed and or anxious one, and one they do when they express anger or rage.

-Hyena Beastmen naturally live in huge families or clans.

Mahina Manu:

-The average condor Beastman has a wingspan of 13 feet and a height of 7-9 feet tall

-Male Condor Beastmen are bald, this is always true unless the other parent is another species of bird. Females have softer and more delicate hair so as to not get pieces of carrion stuck in it and cause sickness

-Condor Beastmen eat rotting flesh not just due to the fact that they like the taste of it, it’s an evolutionary instinct that persisted over the millions of years of Beastman evolution. This is due to the fact that eating something that’s dead is very easy.

-The average Condor Beastman needs help from natural wind currents to fly more efficiently but stronger, more athletic ones can achieve the same results without the wind. It’s all about how much effort is put into it.

-All condor Beastmen have naturally large endurance while in flight, being able to fly up to 180 miles if the right conditions are met (or they push themselves).

Beastman headcanons, my beloved! Twist doesn't really go into much detail about how beastmen and merfolk differ from humans in connection with the species they're based on, so it's always fun to see them interpreted through this lense.

Families of wolf beastmen are known to have higher rates of adopting children from other species. But there's no age limit on adoptees; if a wolf beastmen likes you and especially if you don't have much of a support system, you WILL become family.

I really like the notion that wolf and raven beastmen are tight with each other. Which makes Crowley's avoidant behavior and tendency to dump responsibility on his students even more disturbing to Jack. Granted, Crowley's implied to be some sort of fae but still.

We actually do have confirmation that Leona can roar really loud from Ruggie's Spelldrive Clubweat lines. Naturally he doesn't do it very often since he sees it as a waste of energy, but dude has the range and the bass.

Lion beastmen are also born with freckles just like how newborn lions have spotty fur. The freckles usually fade by the time they're elementary school age, but some stick around for life.

Ruggie has never met a hyena beastwoman that was shorter or more slender than him. Save for his grandma but that's only heightwise. She can still carry him over her shoulder when he's beeing a cheeky yeen.

Striped hyenas can be found in 40 countries across two continents with spotted hyenas living in 39 of Africa's 54 countries. Likewise, of the beastmen who can trace their ancestry back to the Sunset Savannah, hyena beastmen are some of the few that can be found worldwide.

It's common for male condor beastmen to have extensive head and neck tattoos. Many of which pertainin to the sun, a symbol of life and reverence in their culture. Condor beastmen are also partial to sun necklaces and pendants.
