I suppose that's sort of a useful thing to know about me. I have a piece of tattered notebook paper from when I was 18 or 19 outlining it as the major overarching project for my lifetime. All the different threads of my work -- the ones that run through consent, abuse and trauma, social justice, oppression culture, gender, sexuality and asexuality, neurobiology, non-monogamy, massage, anarchism, psychonautics, boundaries and ethics, family relationships, meditation practice, deconstructing language, writing, art, eating disorders, anti-capitalism, community building, metamourship, human-machine intimacy, the Internet, philosophy, sociology, suicide, prison abolition, neurodiversity, transparency, feminism, furry fandom, rolequeer porn, radical compassion, the self/other distinction, data privacy, drama therapy, magic, and whatever else -- ultimately tie back into that core.
I want to understand, explicate, and address the question of what mental illness and touch starvation have to do with one another. If I'm interested in a thing, it's probably because I think it has something to teach me about how to solve that problem.
