#omens

In this Mercury Retrograde times, I’d like to share (again?) a tip to get your own omens — your forewarnings of negative events and confirmations your spells worked!

Decide on an omen for a specific outcome, or pick one that you already associate with a specific message.

The more specific you are, the better. You can also pick a particular context if you’d like, but make sure it’s unique enough that you’ll get it upon seeing it but not too exceptional that the chances are so low your messages will never reach you : I’d discourage picking a species that are endemic to a place a continent and a half away from you you have no connection to.

For example : seeing orange roses with red tips means your protection spell worked. Seeing a wounded black cat is a sign that you were victim of a hex.

3) Check with divination or other methods when you see your omen and see how strong the relation is. If it’s robust, keep that signal.

If not, adjust depending on your divination messages.
