LEEN has entered the chat... [ Harry Mack | LEEN | Beardyman ]
In a mad little underground bar in London, Harry Mack came n jammed with Beardyman and it got deep. They must have made music off the top of the dome for like 2 hours. LEEN came down and stepped up with Harry. LEEN is the UK's greatest living freestyle MC. THIS. . . WAS . . . FIRE. . . . ! Watch Harry and LEEN going Toe to Toe in the second half of this. . . insane. . .
A truly magnificent tache and beard 😍
Skibidi RPF crossover brainrot
I've been listening to a lot of Cheapshow and listening to/watching a lot of Beardyman lately.
Cheapshow is my favourite podcast (well, it's the only one I listen to) - it's hosted by 2 guys (Eli Silverman and Paul Gannon) who ostensibly are there to review cheap snacks and charity shop finds, but every episode quickly descends into mad nonsense. Listening to Cheapshow while having my usual Skibidi Toilet brainrot has made me imagine Eli and Paul living in the post-apocalyptic landscape, and still making and broadcasting their podcasts for any other human survivors who might still be out there. The podcast's slogan is "Finding the treasure amongst the trash", which in my opinion is fitting for a setting in which people eke out a living from ruins. I like to imagine them finding packs of preserved snacks and reviewing those, in between making sarcastic comments about the toilets and the hardwares.
One of the recurring lines in the podcast is 'go round here, come round there, go round there, come round here' (which Eli and Paul say to each other in much the same vein as the Chuckle Brothers say 'to me, to you'). I think of that line every time I see TV-units teleport - they have 'go round here, come round there' powers!
(Also, if Eli got turned into a skibidi, the podcast would probably remain largely unchanged because the amount of mouth-nonsense coming from him would be the same as it ever was.)
Beardyman is a comedian/beatboxer who works with loopstations (he even made his own custom one called a Beardytron). His schtick is that he composes and performs music on the spot made of his own vocal samples, and he uses audience participation a lot - such as asking the audience to shout out genres and he'll mash them together, or asking for suggestions for noises to put in or themes for songs.
I'd like to see a character like that who roams the ruins and 'collabs' with feral skibidis in that way - i.e. they hold out a mic to record some skibidi gibberish and cut that up into loops and make a little tune out of it (before finishing off the song by flushing the skibidi). Also, they could hold out a Tenori-on to intercept a skibidi coming into bite them, and then make some music out of the pattern of switches that the skibidi's face-imprint made.
I had never seen this when I made Belior, but they have SO much in common that I'm half convinced this IS Belior's incarnation in are world. My hypothesis is supported by the fact that his name is Beardyman, which almost sounds like a Belior name (Not really a name, starts with B, like Bard or Benefactor)
There's also this one:
@belior? I need answers.
