My beard is monkey approved!
Original Norfolk Beard of the week
Who?
Daniel Charlton-Kretschmer
What? Daniel CK is one quarter of organic band The Bluebuds based in County Durham. http://youtu.be/1edPlDVAJPM facebook.com/thebluebuds Daniel plays bass and is a long time beardy bloke. "As soon as I could grow a beard I've been wearing one of some description, some less successful than others. It's great to find a product such as this and I will recommend Norfolk Beard Oil to all my beardy friends." Which man archetype? #LOVER #MAGICIAN Playing the upright bass is like caressing a beautiful lady. Also being a musician involves expressing emotions through sound. These aspects definitely show the #LOVER archetype. The #MAGICIAN shows himself in the magic that happens when the atmosphere at a show is good and my fingers strike the strings. Sometimes it's like someone or something has taken control of my hands and I'm just a conduit for the music.
Original Norfolk Beard of the Week
Who: Matthew Irven (aka Mav the barber)
What: barber in training at Pall Mall Barbers, with a passion of all things barber related. I love the freedom of having a beard and moustache, as you can trim and shape them how you like.
MAN Archetype #LOVER
Why:
I'd call myself a lover as I'm always watching out for the ones I care for and that are close to me. Always giving 100% to what I love (EG, my love for barbering.)
For me a barber is more than just some one that cuts your hair/beard. Over time you'll build a bond with all of your patrons. It's also more than just a job for me, it's part of my life and who I am. The loyalty that you receive from others in the trade is amazing.

Original Norfolk Beard of the Week
WHO: Jonathan D. Nobbs
WHAT:
Jon is a producer of the CineFringe Film Festival, a short film festival running each August at the Edinburgh Fringe. With the rest of the 3 guys, 1 girl voluntary team, Jon helps to craft from the hundreds of films submitted for free each year a programme that embodies the spirit of the Fringe - eclectic, exciting, and utterly unpredictable.
Jon grew his beard at 19, at the first opportunity his face would let him. Initially an awkward, untameable and straggly entity, over the last 10 years he hopes it has become at least mildly more respectable, if not yet completely under his control.
Which Man Archetype #KING WHY: The relationship between the beard and the film director is a long and beautiful one, from Spielberg to Kubrick to Orson Welles. And just as the director is (hopefully a kind and generous) king over of his or her cinematic kingdom, the CineFringe team feel an almost regal responsibility in trying to get the greatest films the finest audience. Jon feels the 'King' beard oil is therefore his perfect fit. Also, he's been trying to look like Henry VIII his whole life.
Original Beard of the Week
WHO:
Patrick Marguerit
WHAT:
I am a graduate masseur based in Paris. My motto : one person, one skin, one massage… I try to follow this way of thinking in order to give everybody (every body) the well-suited massage. In contact with all kinds of body, I can say that beard is as important as hair and there is a kind of pride to show it. It's not only a question of appearance. It's more a style to hide or to show his face… It depends on days :)
Which Man Archetype #MAGICIAN
WHY: Just because I turn the bad into the good with my hands. Physically and mentally.
