Tldr: I bought stuff to trim my beard and manscaped is too expensive...
can we stop asking harry about tsw*ft please??? that was 5 fucking years ago + they only “dated” for like 2 months, soooo please stop that
i kinda hate my beard right now but i also don't want to shave it because is finally soft but is true that i look like a famished sailor right now.
Hey pops. What do you use for your beard? Any tips. Goals.
Most of the products I use are from a brand called "Scotch Porter." Google them. My favorites are their beard conditioners (especially the leave-in), the oil, and the balm. Their exfoliating beard/face wash is really nice too.
Considering giving their "superfood supplement" a try as well, but I'm always a little more reticent about putting something new in my body and not just on.

So I reminded myself why I haven’t taken an actual razor to my face or neck in ages the other day.
I received a straight-razor with a box of beard care products I ordered and decided to finally try it out. I tried to clean up the edges of my cheeks, more than the edges of my neck, and the top of my moustache.
I forgot that I pretty much always get really bad razor-burn. I must have sensitive skin or something because it really sucks.
I also forgot how goddamn itchy and uncomfortable it is when it grows back in from being that short. Being constantly irritated by the itchiness of your face and neck can have a real impact on one’s mood.
I’ll stick to my new trimmer and foil. Between the two of them they clean me up plenty-short without being painful and irritating to my skin.
I may keep using the straight razor for precision work at the top of my moustache, but not all over.
Weird personal post but I wish there was a woman equivalent aesthetic to the "grad student beard" look. I don't wanna have a beard but i would mind something that evokes that "my thesis has aged me a decade and a half" look
