Day 1
After the blood bath, the whole of Panem is tuned in, ready to see what type of show that this years tributes will give them.
DJ
The first tribute to be shown is DJ slowing waking up against the golden sunset. he stretches his arms out and the stands up, looking across the arena. With the sun high, and the orange light bouncing off, DJ looks like some sort of warrior and the crowds are eating it up.Â
DJ looks across the cornucopia, to see flags thrown everywhere but he can see three flags, still standing. He slides down the side of the golden horn and lands gracefully on his feet. He runs to all three and without the pressures of the bloodbath, he manages to dig up the remaining items with great ease. He digs up an empty bottle of water, a loaf of bread and a spear. As he looks at his new items, he seems to be a bit disappointed with his findings but still keeps them. DJ is sweating and he knows that he must get water, that is when he spots a small cactus, sprouting out from the ground. He walks over to the plant, and as he reaches out to touch it, he stops instantly.
DJ moves back about ten feet and piles sand up on the ground. He lays down on, behind the pile of sand and once he is confident that he is completely covered, he slows peeks over the pile and loads his slingshot with a stone. He aims for the cactus and the moment he fires, he ducks down, covering his ears.
As soon as the stone hit the cactus, the cactus exploded with needles firing across the small area. There is a scream coming from behind DJ, and he quickly turns around to face the tribute. DJ identifies the tribute as the remaining district three tribute, Bear. Bear is covered with needles all over his body.
DJ picks up his spear and walks slowly over to Bear. The crowd of viewers can feel the the fear as DJ stops as he towers over Bear. The camera focus's on his eyes, that seem to be cold and empty.
"Please," Bear begs, "We can ally!"Â
"I'm sorry." DJ says as he plunges the spear into the tribute's chest, ending their suffering in a matter of seconds. With the final breath, the fallen tribute looks up at DJ.
"Thank you," Bear says as his cannon fires.
Bear from district three is dead.
DJ closes the tributes eyes and takes the spear out of the still body. He lays it on the tributes body, and then makes the cold hands around the spear.
DJ walks over to the remains of the cactus, with a sharp rock and cuts into it. He squeezes a little bit of water into his mouth and waits for a couple of seconds to see if there is anything up with the water. He is fine and he carries on drinking till he is satisfied and returns to the cornucopia. This time, DJ does not climb on top of the golden horn, instead he walks inside the mouth, taking refuge in the shade.
Caitlin and Karlee
Caitlin, the only remaining district eleven tribute is seen walking down to the oasis, her lips cracking due to the heat and her dying thirst. As she manages each step, she grips her small spade tight, and constantly looking around. Upon arriving at the oasis, she arrives at the far end. She almost falls into the water when another tribute grips her arm. Caitlin tries to fight the tribute off but she is too weak...
Karlee from district four is the tribute who is gripping Caitlin. She is not tired at all, since she was one of the first tributes to secure the oasis.
"There more you fight, the more I can't help you!" She says propping Caitlin up against one of the trees.Â
Karlee quickly moves over to the water and fills up her empty bottle. She passes it to Caitlin who can hardly hold it up. Karlee then takes the bottle and holds it against Caitlin's mouth. When Caitlin has finished the water, Karlee takes her own spear and stands in the water, occasionally throwing the spear in.Â
"Can you light a fire?" She asks Caitlin, who slowly nods.
Caitlin sits by the fire when Karlee comes over with three fish. She drives sticks through the body and places the three over the fire.Â
"Why did you help me?" Caitlin asks.
"You were weak, still are. I figured you could do with an alliance."
Chris and Lauren
Chris wakes up so close to the oasis, his desired location when a knife comes flying at him. The knife is deep in Chris's left shoulder and when another tribute comes closer, Chris pulls out the knife, and his screams are echoed around the arena. He grips the knife that is now soaked in his blood ready for a fight when his district partner Lauren, comes running across to him.
"Chris!" She shouts, "I didn't know it was you!"Â
Chris drops the knife to the floor while Lauren rips off a bit of her shirt to bandage Chris up.Â
"I thought you wanted an alliance," Chris said, gloomily as the stings of his wound pass through his body.
"I do," Lauren says tying the shirt, "I still do."
She takes a moment to look deep in Chris's eyes, and then she holds him tight in her arms.
"I don't know how I would manage if you were out of these games!"
Annie
Annie is seen struggling, trying to carry her tent to the oasis. Instead of running straight for the oasis, she buries her items close, and then attempts to sprint to the oasis to try and get water. She manages to reach it, only to see it crawling with at least two more tributes who have more weapons than her. Annie runs back to her tent and other supplies and manages to find a plant. It stings her mouth as she chews but it stimulates salvia, for which Annie is grateful for.
Grace
Grace is seen pulling the bread from underneath her shirt and tucking it into her pants. She leans against a rock, trying to catch her breath and trying to slow her heart rate down.Â
When he heart rate has dropped to normal, Grace decides to search the desert pavement, in search of plants, or just any animal that she can try to hunt. The crowd watches as she manages to carry on, despite her cracking lips and her shaky legs. She falls over a number of times but this tribute does not give up, she still carries on searching although all that she is finding is the odd shrub and rocks.
As night time approaches, Grace manages to reach the oasis, but she does not go anywhere near the water. She walks over to a tree, and slowly but quietly climbs the tree. She covers herself in leaves and finds a sturdy large branch so she does not fall off the tree in her sleep.
Harrison
Harrison is seen taking inventory of everything he has and then the views can hear him mumbling about when to drink the water. Harrison then takes out his shovel and picks up a sharp rock. He first smooths down the shovel, and is seen trying to mold it into some sort of weapon, but he ends up leaving it for now.
The next thing Harrison does is write names in the sand. He puts, 'Tributes Close by' he puts DJ at the top and then Bear and Grace, who last time he checked were at the sand dunes.
A cannon fires and Harrison looks up to see Bear's face shown across the sky. He draws a line through Bear's name.
Annabeth
At the oasis, Annabeth looks down from her tree to see two of the district ten tributes holding each other closely. She watches them for a couple of minutes when she turns to the side to see another tribute in the tree oposite herself. She looks more closely and can see the tribute is sleeping soundly.
Annabeth slowly climbs down her tree, just behind Chris and Lauren. When she is close to the pair, the swings her shovel round which knocks Lauren to the floor unconcious and as Chris stands up, she drive the tip of her shovel into his still bleeding wound. He screams in pain which attracts the attention of the other tributes. Annabeth grabs one of Lauren's knives and pushes it through Chris's wound before she runs off to the nearest sand area
Day 1
There are ten of you left, and what the people of panem want to know is what are you going to do on your first day?
You have a week to submit.
Day 1 is due on the 26th of July 2012, 4pm GMT (England time)
District 3 Interivew
Bear:
Caesar Flickerman: Welcome Bear Grylls, all the way from District 3! Now, how are you finding the capitol?
Bear: I’m finding it wonderful! It’s such a different place to my district back home! And the people here are just lovely!
Caesar Flickerman: So what is your favorite thing about the capitol.
Bear: It has to be the food – delicacies which, I think, have totally altered my palette for good! If I win, I don’t think I can go back to the blander foods back home! I have to get some recipes… *winks at some of the women on the front row*
Caesar Flickerman: So, I can see that you have a training score of 4 -  how do you feel about that?
Bear: Well it could be better, obviously – I don’t think the Game Makers were very impressed with me, but I was tired! I didn’t get much sleep at all during the night before… I think it has something to do with the fact that I’d drank my weight in coffee… that stuff is delicious, though! Haha!
Caesar Flickerman: [Laughs] So who do you think is the hardest competition?
Bear: Hmm… that’s a hard one – everyone’s trained in their own right, and they each have their own special skills! I think everyone’s going to put up a different sort of fight; it’s impossible to say who’ll come out on top, Caesar!
Caesar Flickerman: Are you looking forward to the arena, I hear that the game makers have something special planned?
Bear: I am, actually, yes. I am more looking forward to the challenge – if I die, I’ll know that I’ve died doing something completely different, and that I enjoyed it. That’s my thing – I’m going to enjoy my time in there!
Caesar Flickerman: I was wondering how the reaping was for you?
Bear: Hard… I’d rather not go there Caesar… it was hard for me to leave my family… [bites finger]
Caesar Flickerman: I’m so sorry, Bear… Finally, how well do you think you will do in the arena, are you somebody that we should be betting on?
Bear: Like I said before, I hope that I’m going enjoy it! By all means, bet on me – I’ll try my best! I don’t plan on going down without a good fight anyway!
Caesar Flickerman: Let’s hear it for Bear Grylls  all the way from district 3!

I will post the 3 other public training tomorrow morning, sorry again for the delay to the tributes who submitted.
Opening ceremony: Bear D3
My costume was fantastic! I stood in the chariot as we were thrust forward, and the small, unseen batteries made my clothing light up like the sun! I was wearing a seemingly black leotard, which was lined with tiny lights. Hair-thin lines of clear thread hung off it, each thread dotted with lights which were unseen to the human eye, when they weren’t illuminated. As the chariot surged forward, the lights began to glitter and dance, portraying me like a glittering river in the sun. As the wind began to lift the strands of thread, they too lit up giving the impression that I had a series of fireflies following me lazily. On my head, I had more threads, which stuck to my skin and glittered, giving the impression of water with the kind of digital clarity only District 3 could achieve. I oozed the colours of summer, and grinned. The crowd went wild!

Bear
I stood in the crowd, the sounds of the people around me dying down as a yellow clad woman stood on stage. Elfie Edders - the woman I’d come to dread.Â
I didn’t want to get reaped this year; I didn’t want to go into the games, not after witnessing the horror of the last games. Still, there was nothing I could do - the chance that I wouldn’t get picked was low, because… well… I just had that feeling.Â
I began to shift from foot to foot as the first girl was chosen for our district. I took one last look at my family, my mother and father, and sighed. Then, my heart stopped. Everyone turned to look at me. My name had been read out, and people had created a pathway allowing me to get though. I was the best person in District 3 for survival and out door activities, and I could instruct them on the weather pretty well - they were all shocked. I was too, and I couldn’t move.
Unwilling hands pushed me forward, and I was soon stood on the stage, wishing for nothing more than the ground to swallow me up whole.
