take a bath at 9pm on Sunday night. have that piece of chocolate. blast your music through your speaker. go into your backyard at night and look at the stars. get sunburned. text your friends at 2am even if they don’t reply. paint your nails and then smudge them 5 minutes later. buy that new journal even though you have 10 unused ones at home. wear oversized shirts that cover your shorts. watch a documentary at 1am. drink your 3rd cup of coffee before 11am. doodle on your bedroom wall. light the expensive candle you’ve been saving. light it again. cut your hair. dye it green. hate it and cut it again. thrift a top and cut it and paint it. go to a climate strike. bake a cake and then not eat it. give it to your friends. listen to the same music artist for 3 weeks. find a new artist everyday. read a whole book in a day. experiment with eyeliner. learn how to do a cartwheel.

"I'd totally have a date with you in a pillow fort, there's nothing like being young again.. it may seem dumb or childish to some people but it's not, at times you just have to touch bases with your youth and remember the smiles you used to have. If you live your whole adult life without ever reliving the good parts of your youth, you are going to be a sour old crone that never smiles.. it's those things that make us remember what it was like to be young. If you forget it all or repress it cause it's, 'stupid,' you are repressing the very things that keep you young.. so have a date night in that pillow fort, pick up a barbie and make them have sex again, remember the smiles you once had and you will touch the young part of yourself right on the smile. It's freeing, be a dork.. who cares, as long as you smile. You only get one life and you don't want to spend it miserable and stuffy, be young no matter how old you are.. be young again and stop being an asshole."
