Belle wasnât the kind to learn her lesson in the first mistake. Joshua nearly choked her to death one night when she had provoked him, teasing him that she was going to have sex with her ex-boyfriend as a revenge. And it took several months later for Belle to do another one of her teasing, leading the argument in that situation go to the extreme. This time Joshua was extremely drunk and it was no surprise he couldnât control his actions. The night resulted with Belle having a fractured wrist, from the hard grip he had given her, not to mention his other hand surrounding her neck. He, too, ended up with a huge cut in his forehead, from a vase Belle had hit him with as she tried to loosen up both his grips on her. When Belle had regain her strength that he had drained from the grip, she managed to kick him out of the house. Yelling at him that he wasnât allowed to return until he found help. She leaned against the door and there was a silence, there was no sound of him at all. Suddenly the car engine began and Belle eyes widened, she knew he was in no condition to drive. She struggled at opening the door, the panic feeling making it impossible to turn the knob quicker than what she intended. But by the time she did opened the door, Joshua was already on the road. âJoshua!â She shouted his name multiple times but it was useless. Within seconds he had disappeared down the road. Belle walked inside and closed the door behind her, she was too worried about him than about her wrist.âThe next morning Belle continued her same routine, changing to her casual clothes and watching the news in the kitchen while eating breakfast. Though, that morning, the news was going to deliver her the worst news of her life. As she sat down in the table and began to chew on her cereal, she payed attention to all the news stories. For a moment she had forgotten Joshua left from the house very intoxicated last night. Suddenly, the news gave a special report of a horrible car crash that happened last night. It had involved four cars and sadly all four drivers were killed instantly. Belle dropped her spoon and stood up from the seat, running towards the television and leaning close to it as she saw the images of the cars completely smashed. âPlease god noâŚâ she said as she posted a familiar car on the screen. âNO!â She yelled, as the cars were described and one of them matched to the car Joshua owned. That moment she instantly dropped herself to the floor and began to cry. âItâs my fault!â She yelled, knowing if she wouldnât have repeated history, this wouldnât have been the outcome of it.âNow two years have passed by. Two years that Belle still feels guilty of his death. She wasnât the same person she was before, it was like the soul inside of her died. Belle would never let go the fact she was the reason Joshua had died, if she would have just taken things more maturely, it wouldnât have ended in a tragic ending. She nearly lost her spirit and slowly all her friends were beginning to leave her behind. One afternoon she had returned from work, she kicked her shoes off to the side and through her bag on the floor. Belle quickly went to her room and pick up her cellphone, in which she had forgotten to take with her in the morning. Checking to see if her screen was still blank with no notifications, she had gotten something from the unusual. A missed call from an unknown number and a voicemail along with it. Belle walked over to the living room and sat in her couch, debating if she should even her the recorded message or send it to the trash. After a small battle with her decisions, she decided to hear the voicemailâit wouldnât hurt to hear the message. Going through the process to hear it, she stood silence as she waited for the recording to began. Belleâs eyes widen though, when she heard those words and especially that voice, she yelled and threw the phone across the room. "Iâm Coming Home.â He was returningâJoshua was returning. Belle was frighten, she thought it was a sick joke from someone. Getting up from the couch and picking up the phone, she listened to the voicemail again and againâŚ.and again. It had to be him, the voice was on point and she couldnât forget the voice that brought her life, happiness, and tranquility. Then it was all a mistake, she confused him from that news story with someone else. But where could have Joshua been for these past two years? Why didnât he call her or anything? But it had brought peace to Belle once again and she found something to be hopeful about."Two years Iâve mourned for your death. Two years I had to start to accept I wasnât going to see or touch you ever again. I never stopped loving you and when the wind blew, I could hear it whispered your name. Now look what life has doneâit brought you back from the death and right into my life. This resurrection didnât take three days, it took two years. Two years to be able to see you walk again through that door. And now I cant wait to eagerly wrapped my arms around you and feel the warmth of your body against mine, to feel life return to me once again."Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Belle walked over to open it and she couldnât believe her eyes."Joshua.â
