if jihyun was being completely honest, she hated halloween. she hates the spooks, the fake blood, the terrifying screams and she absolutely was terrified of the ghosts that were running around the park. she knows she’s supposed to keep a brave face, bunker down and deal but after what happened during royal survival, jihyun was sure she could trust no one when it came to the frightening month of october. least of all, dabin -- the girl who embodied tricky tricks rather than treats. 

it’s why she finds herself huddled closer to seoyoung or seolhyun, finding ways to seek them out for comfort, hiding behind them as she tries to shy away from being targeted. she did not need a repeat of the terrifying embarrassment that was her leaping out of her own skin on national television. sure, this one was just aired online but -- still vlives seemed to live forever and from what she’s heard from the others, once they circulated onto other social media sites, there was no going back.

that was another thing to be frightened for altogether.

a part of her is glad she nixed the idea of wearing a full-on ballgown, opting for a shorter dress and heels that wouldn’t kill her soles at the end of the night. and though her hair is a tad darker than aurora’s natural blonde, she thinks she makes an excellent aurora dressed up in pinks, sheer sleeves and a pretty plastic tiara. and despite the scares and her near death experience, screaming until her lungs gave out and an actual soul floated out of her body, in the haunted house, when they all make it out, standing together in a formation of five, jihyun thinks they actually look pretty cute. each one of the members dressed in a princess that self-embodied their personality best. 

and though she was only appointed as aurora just because she loved to sleep in, jihyun didn’t mind. at least, by the end of the night -- she’d be doing exactly what her character was cursed to do.
