I love the use of fanon in fandom spaces bc it goves room for more creative and alternative forms of the media but the marauders fandoms obsession with strayinf completely from canon is so insane to me bc going ahead and being like "weve already strayed so far from canon so why do we have to stick to it for this!!" like ill be honest with you yeah fanons strayed insanely from canon but consider that originally this fandom was built AROUND canon not built seperate from canon
Bragging abt how fanon ur characterisations are is insane bc how do you somehow mischaracterise so insanely that they stray that far from what information IS canon (cough cough regulus) like i get takinf canon info and extrapolating and building off it and i get fanon! I love some fanon! But when ur characters are totally unrecognisable think for a sec okay? Hope this helps 💕
