I've always wanted to be that woman who tells her grandkids stories of all the adventures and life experiences she's lived. You know that whole "There's this one time I..." moment and they just look at you with awe and amazement. I'm learning that the type of woman I want to become is one who wasn't afraid to say "HECK YES!" to an opportunity to learn something new or try something because I was afraid or had zero experience in it. - A few weeks ago I was invited by @LUNAbar to go on my first backpacking adventure! Something I hadn't done before because the truth is, I was never a huge fan of the outdoors or camping and I was too intimidated to even try. Some Sundays are made for rest and recovery while others are made for feeling good and sweating. Just finished up the "Wake Up Call" mobility workout from @niketraining app, a 25 minute mobility workout focused on lower body mobility, then I'm heading out to @bayclubs to get another movement session in with my #bbgbayarea sisters! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Celebrating the end of a #12weekchallenge with good old community time. I love that today's #feelgooddogood meetup is a fitness gathering benefiting @plannedparenthood. I just heard last night that they raised $355, just above their goal of $300. Hopefully we can get some last minute raffle tickets to raise just a little more! Proud of you @hellowigglefy @munfung.bbg @bbghapa @poosekat. 👏🏾 🙌🏾 I dunno what workouts these ladies have lined up today, but I hope they are no spider push ups because #BBG week 12 abs with these sucked ⚾️ 🏀 (at The Bay Club)

Enjoy a steak bowl by from @chipotlemexicangrill because I just walked out of a mega reformer class #deathbykat, taught by fellow Bay Area #fitmom @poosekat. She had my whole body shaking and it reminded me of just how important it is to move your body in different ways. Weightlifting and @soulcycle are my PB&J, but Pilates isolated all those tiny muscle groups that often get neglected with other forms of exercise. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you're in the Bay Area and wanting to check out a mega reformer class I highly suggest to check out one of @poosekat's class. I remember when she was just dreaming of doing this and I looked at her and said, "GO DO IT! What are you waiting for?" Proud of our #bbgbayarea mama for taking the chance and having the faith to pursue her dreams. Now excuse me while I got stuff my face 🐽 🍴, oh yeah and I splurged again with chips and guac.
