talk writing with me, maybe? what wip are you working on or thinking about lately?
of course! i love to talk about writing with you! so right now, iβve been in kind of a writing slump. my real life has been really hectic so I guess thatβs had an impact on my writing. iβve been thinking about this yearβs nano, and whether or not i want to attempt it this year. my problem, though, is what do i work on? do i keep working on WABS, Lost Girls, or something completely different?Β at the moment, iβve been thinking about maybe writing a short story--maybe in parts, like you did with Swimming in Stars and The Last Week, if thatβs not stealing your idea--and incorporating western themes, like the wild west, a ranch, cowboys, and a dark secret! but iβm not sure.

I really got into the Southern Gothic genre when I was in high school, and Iβve always wanted to write something in the genre, but to be perfectly honest, it terrifies me. I donβt know if I could do it or not, but Iβd like to try. Iβm just not sure how to start.
And a Gothic Western would be even cooler, but Iβm not sure if it makes sense.Β
