Duke & Cass being wildly out of their actual age range
Duke's like canonically 15-16 & Cass is always a lil older than Jason, them being really close in age to Steph & Tim feels really adultifying & infantilizing, fucking hate that. Also these two are often not given any sort of personality or perspective at all, like Cass can talk people, & has a very compelling personality, Duke has a pretty obviously intresting personality if you bother to try & read even a few panels with him in it [pirate the goddam comics jesus, go to their fandom wiki & look at the reference pages & read in whatever order you want] Constantly feels like people are like "Well I haven't read anything" or "I don't know them" newsflash mf that's the same excuse a lot of people use to not make stuff about POC people, you are not special you are lazy, read a post from any user who has them in their username you'll get the gist of it. Don't even say you just don't wanna, if you're not gonna have them that's your choice, but if you just can't be bothered own that shit & let me block you without thinking you'll get better.

Why is he only hanging out with the Batfam, he has other friends (i'm electing to ignore Batman Secret Files: Signal because I don't even think that storyline was finished properly), like he only has about 300 character centric fics
