🧅 BATCH FREEZING GREEN ONIONS AKA SCALLIONS 🧊 🥶 It’s been a couple of months since the last post. For the last while, been spending some time wrangling life together and just making some adjustments but definitely getting back into it with a big backlog of photos to comb through. Colder weather is great for that! Spent yesterday batch chopping what has come to be my favourite freshness topper - Green Onions aka Scallions! I like to make sure that I don’t put too much into the bag and flatten it somewhat so that when I need to use it, I can break them up easily inside the Stasher Bag as it’s great for that! Can’t do that with a glass jar, so it’s great for immediate use of the frozen food. I also discovered that green onions can also have a gooey gel on the inside similar to aloe vera but it doesn’t taste onion-y.
