GET RID OF BACK PAIN! [by opening up your thoracic spine] . We talked about strengthening your Hip Hinge in order to prevent low back pain last week. This week this video is designed to INCREASE MOBILITY in your thoracic spine in order to help ease pressure off your lower back . There is very little rotation in the lumbar spine, so when your t-spine is stiff and can't rotate, transverse forces end up going through your low back, and end up causing too much lumbar rotation 👎🏼 . I've created this easy routine for you guys to increase mobility through your spine . 1️⃣Thoracic Swings (left spiral line) 2️⃣Thoracic Rotation Swings (right rotation) 3️⃣Thoracic flex/rot (right side) 4️⃣Thoracic ext/rot (right side) . 8-12 reps 3 sets Hold 1-2 secs at the top (I did them slightly faster for IG video length) 👉🏼remember to do BOTH sides! .
