Was at baseball* game for work this evening where they played Get Low and all I could think of was Alex, and then decided that was not a thought i needed to try and explain to my coworkers.
(*) I say baseball but it was more like a weird venn diagram of frustrated theater kids and kids who were good at playing baseball. So there was baseball, but there was also lots of dancing? and a guy on stilts playing baseball? and at least two of the players were wearing cowboy hats.

My Brain has been hitting me with the same impulse to just slam things with a baseball bat, aluminum if you gave me a choice. I know the wood ones give you better heft, but my arms are weak after years of computer living and their use in the Major Leagues is basically just something they've pushed forward for tradition's sake. a lot of other leagues use metal bats, but y'know, They want to keep things consistent because baseball's like, a game of statistics at this point. I guess if they want another reset like the slow ball era they could make the switch. I just let myself ramble to see what happens.
