i love minecraft storytelling so much. it’s so interesting to me!!!! it’s simultaneous improvisation that leads to some of the most in-depth collaborative storytelling there is!! it’s organised through chaos and in a way that other collaborative stories (eg. dnd) don’t do, there is nobody who’s /leading/ the story (eg. dm), and instead everyone puts in what they want when they want and it’s built on action and reaction. characters develop through interactions more often than planning. stories often happen by accident!! it’s beautiful <3

last weekend, jimmy made it out of the burning dark on decked out 2, and out of the mines of the dungeon, and was made a hero. this week, he made it out of another set of mines.
i’m just saying maybe the hole changed bigb, but the dungeons changed jimmy
