If Barkis Bittern (Corpse Bride) was in Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire, which Great House of Westeros would they be part of or at least the most affiliated with?
House Targaryen
House Stark
House Lannister
House Baratheon
House Greyjoy
House Tully
House Arryn
House Martell
House Tyrell

Ways to approach the poll if the character isnโt a royal:
If you think theyโd be from a smaller house, go with the Great House that that smaller house is sworn to (ex: House Manderly โ> vote Stark)
They donโt have to be a nobleperson, they can be someone working for the house or being ruled by them. Roles could be a sworn-sword, a septa, a butcher, a blacksmith, or even a lowly peasant.
You can consider the region itself. For example, if you feel the character would be from Dorne, pick House Martell.
You can consider the personality of the character. For example, if your character is all about honor, then consider either House Arryn or House Stark.
Last, but not least, be creative with it! For example, there was a comment I read that the character who was the subject of the poll would be pulling a Littlefinger, so they went with either Lannister or Tyrell as that would be that characterโs target houses.

My sibling and I were watching corpse bride because, ๐spooky month๐, and a few question came to mind. Mainly:
How do you think Lord Barcus and Lord Farquaad would get along? Or would they hate eachother?
How do you think they'd meet?
Would they be friends?
Would they be rivals?
Would they be enemies?
Would Barcus be a blue dead man already, making him a "Fairytale Creature"?
Would it be before Farquaad made the edict regarding Fairytail Creatures?
Would it be complicated?
Could they ever be anything more?
What were the moral repercussions of falling in love with a coprse?Victor was pretty chill with it by the end of his movie.
Would Lord Barcus be willing to seduce Lord Farquaad for the money?
Could Lord Farquaad ever look past Lord Barcus' lack of noble blood to see the sleezy kindred spirit?
Would Farquaad die to Lord Barcus or would Farquaad discover Barcus' plot before hand?
What if he knew of it and still held hope?
Do you think Barcus would be disposed of the moment he decided to kill Farquaad?
Could that relationship and betrayal cause Farquaad's lack of trust for magical creatures as well as urge him to get married soon as possible as having any relationship with a corpse would be unsanitary to say the lest and his life could be shorted by his time spent with Barcus?
i already hated barkis since the beginning like watching corpse bride for the first time as soon as i saw him i was like this guy's vibes are EXTREMELY off i do not like him and especially after finding out what he did to emily and that he was planning to do it to victoria too. but yk what really cemented it? the fact that after he did all that shit and had the audacity to say "to emily, always the bridesmaid, never the bride. tell me my dear, can a heart still break once it's stopped beating?" like get the FUCK away from my girls you filthy piece of shit

What would your ideal live action cast be for Corpse Bride?
I've think said this before, but I absolutely hate live action remakes. I feel like they're lazy, soulless cash grabs and almost never good. Ideally, I'd like them to leave Corpse Bride alone ... but if they have to remake it, I think this would be an acceptable cast:
Emmy Rossum as Emily
Tom Hiddleston as Victor
Anya Taylor-Joy as Victoria
Terence Stamp as Galswells
Jack Davenport as Barkis
The rest of the characters don't really matter because they would likely be rendered in CGI, in which case they could conceivably have the cast from the stop motion film reprise their roles. They could even have Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Emily Watson, and Richard E. Grant voice a few additional lines to pay homage to the original, or they could make live cameos.
Also, if anyone's interested, the story of The Corpse Bride is actually based on a Jewish folklore horror tale called "The Finger". It's not a long read and, if you can believe it, it's even more depressing than the movie, at least from the bride's perspective. I'm not Jewish so I can't be sure if my interpretation is correct, but I came away with the sense that the story is a lesson in ethics, meant to teach children to be careful with their words and not say things they don't mean, as there might be horrible consequences and they could unintentionally hurt someone. I would highly recommend anyone who has an appreciation for the film to check it out!
