Since I’m working on my professional pages I’m going to start sharing more videos of performances I’ve been in :) Here’s me performing one of my favorite pieces by Adam Gwon!

it's like really hard to find broad-range tenor workouts that arent' deathly dull. I just found this one that
= starts with the old star trek theme (arpeggios)
= has a kicky disco back beat
= doesn't make you repeat the same thing until your eyes fall out of your head and roll across across the choir room and scare whoever kurt was looking at in the windows
Hiya, bari-tenor here. Would you have any recommendations on audition songs for Sunset Boulevard? They're asking for 1 MT song and 1 contrasting song from anywhere else (opera, pop/rock, etc). Thanks :)
Hm. For your MT piece, look at Funny from City of Angels, No One Has Ever Loved Me or Is This What You Call Love from Passion, or Before the Summer Ends from Dracula. For the contrasting piece, maybe Sounds of Silence by Simon & Garfunkel or Waiting for a Girl Like You by Foreigner. Webber's sensibilities have always been very firmly rooted in the 70s and 80s, so you could look more at that era of pop and rock if those two songs aren't quite right for you.

hi! I’m back! I’m auditioning for alice by heart in a couple weeks n I really want to go for the mad hatter but I’m having such a rough time finding songs that match the style + vibe. I’m looking for tenor/baritenor rock songs, ideally with an antagonistic tone. I’m pretty sure non theatre songs are allowed, but just in case I’d like to have both available. thank you so much :3💚
Hmm. I'm not super familiar with Alice by Heart, but I do know it's Duncan Sheik, so I've got some ideas. Take a look at All That's Known from Spring Awakening, Not a Common Man from American Psycho, or I'm Not that Guy from Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson.
