This morning
Im a guard member and today i wore a fuzzy jacket and i walked up to one of my fellow guard members and a mello/ ex trumpet. They both grabbed my arms as we walked to the band room we walked in and they exclaimed they were going to sacrifice a guard member. That was my morning.

Me? Practicing two nights in a row? It's less likely than you think, but hey, I did it this week.
Also, I'm gonna start a practice diary of sorts. The tag is #LilFlutesPracticeDiary because I'm basic asf.
I warmmed up with the b flat major scale, and a 2 line warmup called The Crusaders, then moved on to piece study.
Ok, today's pieces that I'm focusing on are Fever, and Saxes Will Rock! Fever is a well known song (I think?), and a few years ago, we actually had someone sing the song with the band! Saxes Will Rock! is, as the title suggests, a piece that features the saxophone section. In my school's band, the saxes come forward, and make a line at the front, or up on the stage (we perform on the ground half the time), so their part can be projected to the audience more.
I don't use my stand because it's one of those stands.
