These meatballs stuffed with mozzarella are a tasty and filling keto-friendly meal. Plus, they have gooey cheese in the middle, which makes them a family favorite!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup almond flour. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 large egg. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 tsp dried oregano. 1/2 tsp dried basil. 1/2 tsp salt. 1/4 tsp black pepper. 4 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes. 2 cups sugar-free marinara sauce.
Instructions: Before you start cooking, heat the oven to 375F 190C. Add the egg, minced garlic, dried oregano and basil, salt, and black pepper to a large bowl. Then add the ground beef and mix it all together. Mix everything together well. Make a small ball out of the meat mixture and press it down with your hand. Put a cube of mozzarella cheese in the middle of the meat mixture. Then, roll it into a ball making sure the cheese is inside the ball. To make the meatballs, do this again with the rest of the meat mixture and mozzarella cheese cubes. The meatballs should be put on a baking sheet that has parchment paper on it. Place the meatballs in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are fully cooked and golden brown. Serve the meatballs filled with mozzarella with sugar-free marinara sauce to dip them in or over zucchini noodles for a full meal. Enjoy these tasty meatballs that are low in carbs and cheese.
