Okay, I’m only 2 hours into 5 and a half hours of the third EXU: Calamity episode, and I won’t be able to watch the rest until tomorrow because I have work in the morning (honestly, the final episode will likely be out by the time I finish this one), so I’m just going to make this one small note:

When Lycretia said “Keep the blood of the master’s chosen, he lives!”. We’re all assuming this is Zerxus as Asmodeus’ chosen. The only thing I was thinking as she said that, phrased that way, was that Zerxus had made a specific point to Asmodeus last episode that Elias was not of his blood.

I’m just ... Devil’s in the details, and Asmodeus is the devil of devils, and maybe this is just Lycretia, not Asmodeus, but. Phrasing. The blood of the master’s chosen lives. But Elias, his son, is not of his blood.

*snicker* you say that like Aeon wouldn't take one look at Gilgamesh (who is either a ventrue or a brujah) and promptly decide that he is going to tear out Gilgamesh's throat.

He does not succeed. But he seals his fate because now Gilgamesh is interested.

(It probably doesn't help that Aeon is all rage and recklessness like Cor was. It doesn't help that Gilgamesh can smell the relation that Aeon has to Cor.

It doesn't help that Gilgamesh might be a little obsessed with the Leonis line.)

(When Noctis finds himself saved by Aeon the first thing Noctis notices is that Aeon is starving, that Aeon is one step away from a Frenzy because Aeon is still too thin. Too small and fragile from his time spent with Gilgamesh.

Aeon is hungry enough, that when he gets shot, he can't brush it off and he collapses.)
