Just found out my inlaws have a belief that to truly follow the faith the have to use this obscure pamphlet from Family Services in the '70. It says something like "talk to your children about your other children".

(maybe it was already vanishing before but this crushed what little chance he had as an acceptable Scotland OC for me) You can like him or even adore him as a character, but this is the kind of interpretation that I abhor and makes me unable to support Pixiv Scotland.

Alright, Google Translate is really not that great at translating full sentences. If I knew Spanish I might have attempted to translate it more coherently. As it stands, there's really not a lot to be gained from the description. OP likes drawing Scotland being abusive to England. (also there was another picture of Scotland being forceful with a Northern Ireland OC... there's nothing to comment on that picture, I can't even tell if it's consensual or not)

This is the second time you say this and I'm not really sure what exactly the translation is trying to say. Either you love Scotland because he had to suffer at England's hands or you love Scotland because you get to make England suffer at his hands. Neither explanation is very calming to me, all I'm seeing is an attempt to justify why this abuse is okay.

This is the kind of interpretation that drives me nuts and made me hostile towards Pixiv Scotland. A lot of people don't seem to realize that this is downright insulting to the Scottish, portraying their country personification as an abusive and insane character who would do those kind of things. There's nothing gratifying about drawing England being tortured like this, at least I don't see what's satisfying about it.
If people make the point to me, "These are just fictional characters, the abuse isn't real, stop getting worked up over this" I will tell you this: I know this is completely fictional. I am not treating this as real abuse. But I will be vocal about my concerns that people are not seeing the insulting nature of this? Do you think the Scottish would enjoy their country being so abusive? If America was presented as an insane character who killed every woman he saw with a shotgun, would American fans of Hetalia enjoy this interpretation? So why do the Scottish have to put up with that popular fanon interpretation of their own country?
At the end of the day though, everyone has a right to their opinion. Apparently some people like this. I don't, I personally find this interpretation of Scotland pretty sickening and it angers me to see it so often. That doesn't mean that I think the people who like Pixiv Scotland to be disgusting, you have every right to like him. Pictures like the ones above are my personal reasons for not liking this Scotland OC. And it makes me sad and angry that this Scotland OC has achieved a status where most new arrivals to Hetalia mistake him for a canon character.
People who like the design but opt for a different (read that as healthier) interpretation of Scotland are welcomed with open arms. If you use the design but invest time and energy into developing a better interpretation for this Scotland, thank you.

Another instance of offensive portrayal. How can you accurately represent Northern Ireland as Ireland's head? Won't she be acting absolutely demented because her head and body are two different countries? With different political interests? No, this doesn't work at all. This is just brushing off everything Northern Ireland has had to go through. Heck, right now riots are going on in Belfast because of those two flags pictured here.
*shakes head* Just... don't represent Northern Ireland as a body part of Ireland. It is very insenstive and poorly interpreted. This isn't the worst portrayal though, I've seen Northern Ireland being represented as a removed eye from Ireland or Ireland's breats.
Be respectful and treat Northern Ireland as a seperate entity.
