Probably one of the most important postures for preparing the body for deep back-bending in intermediate series which I ignored and to which I resisted for a long time, putting very little effort or attention to it. Once I started to dedicate more time and practical study to it my body started to understand many concepts that were only in my mind, related with the proper use of the legs, the way of leveraging the body and playing with gravity, the way that the tilt of the hips can change a backbend, the activation of Moola and Uddiyana Bandha, the use of intercostal breath, and many other aspects that throughout this exploration started (and still do) to transform my backbends, specially my Kapotasana. If you, like me, don’t have a natural backbend, I very much recommend to start working in this posture before forcing your body to go somewhere it might not be ready. . . . . 🎥👉🏽 @b.p.wcislo #laghuvajrasana #asana #yogapractice #ashtangavinyasa #yogajourney #selfpractice #backbendingyogis (at Santa Ana, Costa Rica) https://www.instagram.com/luanafarayoga/p/ByeEd5THKzz/?igshid=3szw0k067onk
