प्यार में नहने को, दूब ही जाने को

दिल मेरा तड्पाए, ख्वाब जगजाए

ऐसा कोय साती हो, ऐसा कोय प्रेमी हो

प्यास दिल की बुजा जाए

The trees dance with the wind,

The leaves murmur secrets.

My heart, a fairy,

Dancing to the rhythm-

The rhythm of the earth.

Mother Nature, striking a melodious tune.

The soft pitter-patter of rain,

The chirping of birds,

Leaves rustling in ancient whispers.

Music to my soul,

Quenching the thirst for life.

This is life, here by my window.

I sit and watch.

Thanks to thee, Mother Nature,

The healer of souls.

The world is not always what you see but it is what you don't see.
