TWO TIME POV

“I can be vulnerable once in a while.”

Oh Two Time, don't you remember what you did? Do you really think you're that much of a saint? Tell me, do you regret it?

2 AM. Just go to sleep Two Time, just go to sleep. The room is dark. It's so cold, even with a warm blanket. I don't want a blanket i want them. Why did i start a fight with them? It wasn't even their fault. Why do i have to be so selfish?

If it weren't for me, they'd be cuddling with me. Hugging my body till it's warm at last. Instead they lay each side of the bed, me in the middle struggling to fall asleep. I can't. I can't with this. They don't deserve me.

Why am i crying? Stop crying. You're being pathetic. How would they react seeing you like this? You started it and yet you're the one crying like a little baby. I know how bad i am. I should've even be here. I should be back at the cult, being tortured by ██████.

“Two Time? Wake up, nightshade.”

Wake up? Wait—Wake up? Azure? What does he mean by that . . ?

“Two Time, wake the hell up, dumbass.”

I could feel their stares as my eyelids open. My face still wet with tears. Azure's body was wrapped around mine while 1x1x1x1's fingers brush away the last drop of tears from my eyes. “We're here, don't cry now.”

“I . . So it was all a dream . . ? The argument? The tears? The coldness?” My eyes paces around their gazes. They turned to look at each other at confusion before turning back at me. “What ‘argument’ are you even talking about?” “Yes, what is this ‘argument’? I don't recall getting into a serious argument with you or 1x1x1x1. It must be your nightmare.”

You don't understand the relief i felt. The relief that they aren't leaving me. The relief that what we built isn't ruined. But for some reason, i can feel the tears building up again. “Hey hey—don't cry. We're here, no argument happened.” “Yeah uh . . I'll . . Azure will make you cookies tomorrow . . ?” Azure's head slowly turns to 1x1x1x1, his face hardening.

“I never agreed to that.” “For Two Time's sake.” “. . Grrh . . Fine.” Well . . at least they're not arguing with me? But dang it that nightmare felt so real. Maybe it's because i'm just afraid. I'm just afraid of being left alone again. Especially after what i've done. After what i am.

“. . Two Time, it's fine.” It's fine. Suddenly i felt 1x1x1x1's wrap themselves around me. So i'm pretty much sandwiched by Azure and 1x1x1x1. I . . Can't say i hate this position. It's . . warm. I like warm. I love warm. “Hold me tighter and don't go, okay? . . Please.”

Azure basically added his tendrils as an extra blanket for my legs, 1x1x1x1 just hummed in response. It felt to nice. To be loved again. To be . . vulnerable. I can be vulnerable once in a while. With them at least.

My most precious darlings.

Please don't let this moment end.

“You mean alot to us, you know that right, my Nightshade?” I nod slowly, nuzzling between them closer. “More than alot.” she mumbles. “For once, i can agree with you my Hyacinth. We love you alot Two Time, and i most personally say that we won't leave you for any reason.” He gently rubs my cheeks. “Say it back.” I let out a small giggle.

“I love you both too, my darlings.”

Maybe i am good enough for them.
